Stabenow calls for security on nuclear waste shipments

Club Indigo to feature Citizen Kane July 19

HOUGHTON -- The Calumet Theatre's Club Indigo will present CITIZEN KANE at 7:15 p.m. Friday, July 19. Guest columnist Joe Kirkish notes in his review that this Orson Welles classic has been called "the greatest single movie ever made." Planned Parenthood Express expands health services

HOUGHTON -- The Planned Parenthood Express health center located in downtown Houghton has recently expanded its Copper Country services. Adrienne Shipley, community outreach coordinator for the center, says the new services -- available at reduced rates for women who qualify -- include gynecological exams and complete screenings for sexually transmitted infections. more
