National Wildlife Federation questions MDEQ on Mt. Bohemia document

ANN ARBOR -- A spokesperson for the National Wildlife Federation (NWF) says Black Bear's antidegradation statement to the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ) does not meet MDEQ standards for water quality. NWF says the proposed increase in phosphorous discharge from the Mt. Bohemia septic system to Lac La Belle is not justified by the developer's data. Read NWF's letter to MDEQ. more
