World Food Programme (WFP)
The UN World Food Programme has a resource page detailing its regional operations as well as information on how to help.

United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR)
The UN's refugee agency has an up-to-date information section on the Afghan crisis and details on how to make donations.

United Nations Children's Fund (Unicef) 
Unicef has an extensive resource page on the current situation in Afghanistan and also accepts donations. 

International Red Cross and International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies 
The International Committee of the Red Cross and International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies both have in-depth resource pages on the crisis. Online donations are accepted. Red Cross organizations in different countries have also established their own appeal efforts -- such as the American Red Cross and the British Red Cross. 

Oxfam 
Oxfam International has a general resource page on the disaster in Afghanistan. Donations can be made via the Oxfam sites in each individual country. 

Médecins sans Frontières (Doctors without Borders)
This international charity providing emergency medical care has a special page with details on how to donate from different countries.

Care International
U.S.-based Care International has produced a special report on the Afghan refugee crisis. It is possible to donate online, or via post to CARE, 151 Ellis Street, NE Atlanta, Georgia 30303-2440, USA. Tel: 1-800-521-CARE ext. 999, or 404-681-2552 from outside the US

Save the Children 
Save the Children's Afghanistan emergency page has details on how to donate. Many of the charity's offices outside the USA also have information on the humanitarian crisis -- such as Save the Children UK. 

Merlin 
British-based NGO Medical Emergency Relief International is concentrating its efforts on helping refugees on the Afghan-Tajik border. Donations are accepted online, or by post at 5-13 Trinity Street, Borough, London SE1 1DB, UK.

Islamic Relief 
This international NGO has launched a special appeal for Afghan refugees, which includes international donation details. 

Christian Aid
This British-based charity has produced a special report on its aid efforts in Afghanistan. You can donate online, or via post at Afghanistan Appeal, Christian Aid, PO Box 100, London SE1 7RT, UK. 

World Concern 
The special appeal launched by the international Christian charity World Concern is asking for cash donations and kits containing essential items to give to Afghan refugees. 

World Vision International
International Christian relief and development organization, has information on its contribution to the Afghan aid effort as well as donation details. 

Cafod
The website for the UK-based Catholic Agency of Overseas Development has details on the charity's work in Afghanistan, and donation information.
