NOTICE TO CITY OF HANCOCK RESIDENTS

Nominating Petitions for persons desiring to qualify as candidates for the Office of Council - (1) one Councilor from Ward I, (1) Councilor from Ward II and (1) one from Ward III for a four-year term on a non-partisan ballot are available at the City Clerk's Office between the hours of 8 a.m. to Noon and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. (M-F).

The City Clerk shall accept petitions until 4 p.m. local time, Tuesday, August 3, 2004. This shall be the last day and time for filing nominating petitions for the above-mentioned offices.

Names of candidates who qualify for office will appear on the November 2, 2004, ballot.
