(Photo 2006 Keweenaw Krayons)MOHAWK-- Keweenaw Krayons, a non-profit arts organization based at the Mohawk School, is selling fall flower bulbs. Jordan Kariniemi, 15, of Fulton, sold $550 worth of bulbs in the Spring Fundraiser. “He had an incentive too,” said Carol Rose, director of the Teen Graphic Arts and Marketing Program. “We decided to let the kids earn commission. They received 10 percent of their sales, so Jordan earned $55 for his efforts, plus the satisfaction of raising money for a program that he and his family have been involved in for several years.” To order bulbs or find more about the fundraiser, call Keweenaw Krayons at 337-4706 or email staff@keweenawkrayons.com.
