On Friday, Feb. 1, MTU student Max Dehtiar of Cottage Grove, Minn., shows students Mike Toles, left, and Chris Foltz -- both of Port Huron, Mich. -- how he makes bricks out of slushy snow for the First Year Experience (FYE) construction for Winter Carnival 2002. Dehtiar would not yet reveal the name of the FYE entry, located in front of the  Walker Arts and Humanities Center on campus.
