Help with This Web Site
From the home page of the Keweenaw Now Web site, you can visit three main
sections:
- News: for news stories, both current and past
- Views: for our guest columnists' viewpoints
- Happenings: for arts, cultural, governmental and other activities in the Keweenaw Peninsula -- current, future
and past
Click the underlined links in the left-hand topics list to go to any of
these sections.

Our home page provides links to the most recent news stories (In the News),
guest columns (Points of View), and events (Happenings) posted to our Web site.
You can read the entire story by clicking the underlined headline or the
underlined word more at the end of each story brief. And note that we
use the same format for the story brief everywhere in the site. So, if you're
new to our site, you'll soon be in familiar territory, no matter which section
you visit.

Finally, be sure to check out the Table of Contents. You can reach it from
every page in this Web site by clicking the underlined link in the top right-hand
corner of each page. The Table of Contents lists our Web pages alphabetically
within categories, and it can help you find any news story, viewpoint, or
happening quickly. This will be especially helpful as our site grows.

Our site has been designed by an industry expert in Web site usability. It
will adjust to fit, no matter what the size of your computer monitor or Internet
browser. The text sizes are adjustable too. To make the text as large as
possible in Microsoft Internet Explorer, click the View menu. From the View
menu, select Text Size and then click
Largest.

To make the text size larger in Netscape Navigator, click the View menu and
select Increase Font. In Netscape Navigator you can select Increase Font and
Decrease Font as many times as you need to, in order to set the text to a size
that is easy for you to read.

In Netscape Navigator, you can use a short-cut to quickly make the text size several times larger.
Hold down the
Ctrl key on your keyboard, while pressing the ] key as many times as necessary
to adjust the font size to your liking. To reduce the text size repeatedly, hold
down the Ctrl key on your keyboard, while pressing the [ key as many times as
desired.
