Public Hearing Notice

SALE OF REAL PROPERTY

7:30 p.m., Wednesday, July 18, 2007

City Hall Council Chambers, 399 Quincy Street, Hancock 

The City of Hancock will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday, July 18, 2007, at 7:30 p.m. at the City Hall Council Chambers, 399 Quincy Street, Hancock to consider public comments on the proposed sale of the following real property owned by the City:

1. Government Lot #5: Immediately East of Swedetown Creek.

Parcel A 1.07 acre with 164.95 feet of M203 frontage with 415.7 feet of creek frontage with a proposed price at $104,000.

Parcel B 1.10 acre with 140.16 feet of M203 frontage and 239.55 Portage Lake frontage with a proposed price at $154,000.

Parcel C .11 acre with 18.52 feet of M203 frontage and 25.51 feet of Portage Lake frontage with a proposed price at $20,000.

2. or as an alternate to the above Gov't Lot #5 proposed the following:

Parcel #1 with 350 feet of Swedetown frontage with a proposed price of $60,000.

Parcel #2 with 104 feet of Portage Lake frontage with a proposed price of $100,000.

Parcel #3 with 160 feet of Portage Lake frontage with a proposed price of $140,000.

3. Old DPW Property: At the foot of Birch Street .

To divide 430 feet of Portage Lake frontage into four (4) parcels, each with 107.5 feet of frontage with a proposed price of $107,500 each parcel.

Maps of the parcels are available for review at the City Office, 399 Quincy Street, during regular business hours.
