Many local artists, including youth, will be displaying and selling their art; and Robin Matthews of At Home America will be taking orders for candles. The Aid Association of Lutherans Branch 487 will also be conducting an on-site bake sale to benefit Keweenaw Krayons.
Thinning out your garden? Bring your plants and take home one of your neighbors. Consider bringing extra and donating some to the kids' ever growing gardens.
A percentage of all sales will benefit Keweenaw Krayons, a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide children, adults and seniors with the opportunity to explore their creative and artistic talents in a safe, mentoring and intergenerational environment and to introduce them to the business world of marketing their talents.
Make a visit to the northernmost arts center in Michigan -- a must on your Memorial Day Weekend agenda. To obtain more details or to offer your support call 337-4706 or email
