Heikinpäivä ski races to be held at Swedetown Trails in Calumet

HANCOCK -- The Heikinpäivä Hiihto Cross Country Ski Races scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 19, have been moved to the Swedetown Ski Trails in Calumet.

In order to allow everyone time to reach the new venue, the races will start later than previously advertised. The schedule of events is as follows:

12:00 - 3:30 -- Registration at the Swedetown Chalet

2:00 -- 22 Km race start (18 to 60+ age groups)

2:05 -- 10 Km JO race start (16-19 boys age groups)

2:10 -- 5 Km race start (14-60+ age groups)

4:00 -- 2.5 Km race start (8-13 age groups)

4:15 -- 1 Km race start (4-9 age groups)

5:00 -- Awards
