The workshops will run from 10 a.m to noon on consecutive Saturdays beginning July 13 through August 10. They are geared for ages 14 through adult, with workshops for children of participants being held at the same time.
Artists Carol Rose and Darlene Basto will facilitate the July 13 collage workshop. Materials will be supplied, but participants are welcome to bring their own photos and other memorabilia to incorporate into their collage.
Other workshops will be Abstract Watercolor, July 20; Masks, July 27; Clay,
August 3; and will wind up with Yupo Watercolor, August 10.
"Never tried any of these? Come join the fun as healing of all sorts can take place through the arts, and the series is intended to free the creative and healing spirit within each person," explains Rose.
All the workshops are geared toward the non-artist but artists are welcome as well.
Class size is limited for all the workshops including those for children of participants. While there is no fee for any of the workshops, pre-registration is required. Call 337-5806.
