Eagle Harbor Township Board to meet April 8

EAGLE HARBOR -- The Eagle Harbor Township Board will meet at 7 p.m. Monday, April 8, in the Township Hall. The board's agenda includes the Supervisor's remarks and correspondence on various items, including new state zoning laws and a Nature Conservancy update. New business includes a Home Occupation zoning proposal and discussion of land acquisition and funding options. See the agenda. Also, see George's Eagle Harbor Web for the Township News. Arts Center to host "Peace, Tolerance and Diversity" exhibit Apr. 9-27

HANCOCK -- The Community Arts Center will host the second "Peace, Tolerance and Diversity" exhibit April 9 through 27 in the Kerredge Gallery. The deadline for submissions is Saturday, Apr. 6, at 4 p.m. A public reception will be held from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, Apr. 11 (changed from Apr. 10  announced previously). The Community Arts Center is located at 126 Quincy Street in Hancock; for more information call 482-2333.
