Wed. 08/13. 8 p.m. Musician Bruce Rundman will perform at the Motherlode Coffeehouse, under the covered street in Houghton. Bruce describes his music as "Americana" -- an acoustic blend of rock & roll, a little folk, a little country -- good coffeehouse music. Air-conditioned and no cover charge.

Thurs. 08/14. 7 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. Melissa Davis and Randy Wakeham will be playing the bandshell at Danielle Park, Third and Pewabic Street, Laurium. In case of rain at the arena. To find Danielle park, turn right at the second light (a blinker) off U.S. 41 in Calumet. Go through downtown Laurium (another blinker) (by the old Honey Cone) and Danielle Park is two blocks after that, on your right.

Established in 1937, the "Tammies" are well known to Copper Country audiences for their colorful costumes and ingenious choreography of international folk dances from Croatia to Bulgaria.
