featuring an eccentric grouping of multi-media and installation work by regional
artists, co-curated by Harriet Mayer King and Randy Wakeham. Witness
genre-imploding art, sensory-warping live music and mind-blowing food. This
event is free and open to the public. Omphale is a not-for-profit art gallery
supported by community donations and facilitated by volunteers. Gallery hours:

Gaard. Walker 134 on MTU campus. Following the film, Dr. Gaard will deliver a lecture on Ecofeminism and Ecological Politics followed by a
question and answer period. Greta Gaard is a major figure in the fields of Ecofeminism and Green
Politics. She is a college educator, ecofeminist activist, filmmaker, and author.
