About Our Authors
Lis Wilson is a 1994 graduate of Houghton High School. Since that time,
she has been wandering the world. Most of her time has been spent in the United
States in college, but right now she is teaching conversational English at a
technical university in Karaganda, Kazakhstan, through Educational Services
International - ESI. Her favorite past times include exploring her city on foot,
buying food at the local bazaars, practicing speaking new Russian words and
phrases and spending time outside of class talking with her students.
Lis may decide to spend a second year in Kazakhstan. Whether she does or not,
she plans to assist with ESI's training of new teachers this summer in
southern California.
For information on ESI see the Educational Services International Web
site.
